This car was originally a tender for a steam locomotive on the nearby Hoosac Tunnel and Wilmington Railroad. It was used by them for a while as a flat car, then sold to a private individual who wanted to rebuild it into a tender for a steam locomotive he was restoring. We used this car when we put up our overhead wire.
