Barten was one of the founders of the Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum. For many years he had a website called www.alfredbarten.com, which is now defunct. Among other things, he had there
an extensive history of the Conway Electric Street Railway (CESR). We moved it here and brought it back to life with his permission.
