Railroad Artifacts Wanted
We are also always interested in books, postcards, pictures, models, tools and items used on trolleys and railroads, especially if they relate to local lines.  If it fits with our collection, we will place it in our Visitors Center displays for others to enjoy.  We will give you a letter, if you want, describing the item donated and stating that the donation is tax-deductible.  The IRS forbids us from placing a value on donated artifacts, for most items under $500 you do not need an appraisal anyway.  Please let us know if you will allow us to sell the item to make money if we choose to, or if you want us to keep it in our collection.  If you have pictures or postcards of local trolleys and railroad scenes, we would be glad to have copies if you wish to hold on to the originals.

Please contact us if you have any offers, information or questions.
